Dam Half Marathon

About The Dam Half Marathon

The Dam Half, a beautiful fall jaunt along the picturesque north section of the Provo/Jordan River Parkway, along the shore of Deer Creek Reservoir, through Midway, and finishing at the Midway Town Square.

The weather in October can be anything from heat to snow, but its usually dry and cool and beautiful.

The race ends at the Midway Town Square (sorry about the change!)

The course has about 400 feet of elevation gain, including several short, fairly steep hills. The first 7.5 miles is on a well maintained gravel trail about 10 feet wide. The remainder is on the streets through Midway.

It's not an "easy" half marathon, but it's a beautiful, unique one that includes a train ride on the historic Heber Valley Railroad.

The Dam Half Marathon is sponsored by the Heber Valley Medical Center, Wasatch County Parks and Recreation, the Heber Valley Railroad, and the Midway Running Club.
